I saw this Mini 2 bay NAS/ Mini PC on youtube and they touted its greatness for its size and how cheep and little power it used.

I had 2 drive bays and 2 NVME drives. It came with windows 11 and 32 Gigs of Ram. when i first got it. I loved it. I decided to use it as a mini PC.

 

In short: I now why they discontinued this product. I shall Explain why.

1. this thing crashes daily and lot, constant reboots and all. I have replaced the NVME's I have replaced the ram replaced the hard drives. shoot i even went into the bios and set the fan to stay on high. Thinking it might have something to do with windows 10, I decided to install Trunas core on it. it was flawless. mapped drives and started moving files on and off of it. and POW. it too constantly crashed. I determined that the unit was defective. I went to their web site and found support ended and they discontinued this product.
2. only good thing about this unit was its parts. i took the Ram from this machine and upgraded the ram on my laptop from 16 gigs to 32 gigs.  The NVME that had windows 11 on it was repurposed for another PC.  And the fans and CPU went on other systems.

Last check, the R7 is selling at 199.99 from its original 599.00 price. I would not recommend this to anyone to buy. they can keep this junk.
